Why chanting the same mantra gives different results. Is home deity worship just practice?

Dog by nature is carnivorous. Its anatomy of teeth suggests that God made it to consume meat. Meat is one of the natural food of Dog. So normally it wudn’t be wrong to feed it meat.
But the ultimate solution is it is better to avoid keeping a pet dog for u may have to purchase meat for its food. This wud help u avoid discomfort of buying meat for ur pet dog

I would have thought that dogs are omnivores like humans. They can survive on veg diet or meat diet. Remember they call some of human teeth canine.
Now a cat, that is really carnivore, they have to eat meat but all the devotee owned dogs I knew they lived on prasadam. And all the dogs in the holy dham’s live on Prasadam.

Hare Krishna. Cats can be fed on vegetarian (dog or cat) biscuits, milk, ricotta cheese, water and cream. They do not necessarily need meat products. Some also like tomatoes, dhal, beans, papaya etc. This is said from experience. Experiment!

I have dogs that are very healthy vegetarians, they live on veggie dog food and prasadam. There is a company that is very favorable to devotees called veggiepets.com there you can get loads of info on veggie dogs and all what you need for your pet, pellets or tined food, chews etc if you want ready made food, and they are very helpful.
Also when you look into the barbaric meat industry you will also discover how bad it is for your dogs health in general and how many bad allergies come from it. My vet is always very pleased with the health of my furry companions.
Hope the website helps.

I have had a dog some years ago. He was vegetarian and extremely healthy. We are getting another dog after some
years of not having a dog. We have researched and found vegetarian dog foods that rate better and more nutrituous than regular dog food.
Some humble advice: Get a small to meduim dog if you really require a pet dog – it is easier to maintain these size dogs as a vegetarian. Statistics prove that small to medium dogs are better watchdog and more alert.
To minimise the risk of attachment unfavourably, give
your dog a spiritual name. In this was way you will be still calling out the Holy Names even when playing with your dog – what to speak of others who call him by his Holy Name. -

But by subsisting the pet Dog on vegetarian food only don’t u think u r playing God but trying to suppress it’s natural instinct or the way it was supposed to be. Of course we all know that Dogs r domesticated wolves but looking at their anatomical features wouldn’t it wrong to deny it meat?
OF COURSE KRISHNA PRASADAM IS TRANSCENDENTAL IN NATURE AND PERHAPS A DOG FED WITH IT MAY BE ABLE TO CURB ITS ANIMAL INSTINCTS. May be that’s not wrong.
